I ran into this site http://www.nellyshomeguide.com and spoke with the lady I'm sure you all have seen these z57 templates. I am aware of there virtually unrankability, but it would be extremely helpfull if some of you guys could point out some of the red flags the site has so she can see. Do it for good old spicoli...:D

It would take more work and money to get it ranked than it would to create a good custom site which will actually have a good conversion rate.

z57 seems to have their minds set on this one type of template and every site of theirs looks the same. I am missing something that appeals to me. On the bottom you see all of the banners, but where are some nice pics of homes in the area. Or any kind of information about the area where people might be moving to. Real esteta web sites should be more than just mls searches. They should give people some information and ideas on what life will be like in the community that they may be relocating to. IMO custom designs are the only way to go for real estate.

Maybe it's just me, but if I'm looking for a local realtor, thinking of buying or selling a home, I don't even want a hint of 'foreclosures'.

also, off of home page, left column menu doesn't display properly in Firefox.

There is a limit on how much additional advertising a home page needs, and they are definitely exceeding it :)
