Need a dedicated SEO Pro's advice

Discussion in 'HTML & Website Design' started by phpmx, Oct 1, 2004.

I have been asking many people in the forum what's the best way to improve my website to place top ten in the search engines. Ive gotten lots of good advice, but it would take for me to make changes to the text and few other things beyond my knowledge. I was hoping to be reffered to a Pro who will do the work for me. I have seen lots of ads about SEO and the truth is, they charge an arm and a leg.

    Thanks in advance.

Good SEO is a lot of hard work and requires knowledge and experience. You admit that you don't have the knowledge and experience, why do you think someone should provide theirs to you cheaply?

Having said this, there are many of us on this forum who make our living providing SEO services and yet at the same time pass out advice freely and generously on this forum. So if you want it cheap, read, study and experiment and do it yourself. If you want to hire a professional be ready to pay a professional fee.

    Old Welsh Guy,

I don't want cheap, I said that SEO has been abused and therfore it is expensive. I have been computing for over 20 years and been writing html for a goood while. I am not a professional and I am studying and learning. If I have to pay for SEO I will, but not necesarilly what they charge out there. Its crazy, specially that pay per click crap.
I could appreciate sharing information with others the same way i offer my knowledge freely.
I have very little time to study since I run my business 24/7 and if I have to hire a pro to do it for me I will, but under a resaonable fee condition.

PPC isn't SEO. Don't shit all over SEO because you think PPC rates are too high. Why don't you PM me your URL? I'll have a look and give you a quotation on what I would charge to provide SEO services.

You should do the same thing with several other people on this forum. Then you can pick the person you are most comfortable with who is charging a fee that you think you can live with.

Yeah, Im not sure anything compar said was incorrect.

I would suggest requesting quotes from 5-10 different places before settling for one.
