Hi, does anyone know where i can find a database software where i can add to my website so people can search for things like restaurant, places so on.

It must be a database where i can add my own contents.

Thanks but it needs to be personal to my website. i need a database for my members and users to search for therapist in their local area.

All i will do is add the therapist details, then add it to the database and at the front end it will have a search tab for people to search.........

talking like that it sounds like you want a customized solution for your site.

start by telling us everything that needs to get stored and retrieved through your site, then we might recommend scripts that accomplish the parts of that.

but 'searching for a therapist in their local area' is not a standard script, it usually means custom programming work (--> expensive)..

I agree. With a bit of tweaking, even the good old PHPLD 2.x can be made to look VERY nice, and do just about anything. You simply enter the therapists yourself, and the users can use the search function to find them.

    And it's free!
