Okay not too sure of this- I have a blog network, I use wp-omatic an RSS plugin to import my post but problem is the posts dont go to the original categories I assign at the main blogs- I need help to fix this, I tried smartrss but dont know how to set up the cron job- I need someone to help me set it up that blog posts go to thier own categories.
Also I need a plugin or a cron job so I can post one link on the blog roll of the main blog and it gets posted on the blog roll of all other blogs.
Okay now if someone can help me find regular plugins that will do this I will pay them for that as well

I am using wordpress- Need this resolved ASAP. Oh the cron job would have to pull the feed off my main blog at least once an hour.

I can show you how to setup a CRON job if you have shell access to the server your site runs on.

I thought I had replied to this, weird. Anyway, if you have root access you should edit /etc/crontab. Follow http://www.adminschoice.com/docs/crontab.htm this guide to show you how to create an entry. If I try and explain something will only go wrong with my explanations :)
Once you have created the job press colon and then type 'wq'

If you don't have root access type 'crontab -e' and following the process above.

If you have any problems then shout up.

    Regards,

What control panel do you have?

if your host / server has a control panel (cpanel, flesk, etc...) you should have a 'newbie-friendly' way of adding a cron task to the scheduler.
