Need A CPM Program

I'm looking for a CPM program that falls within the following boundaries:

    1. High payouts (of course!)
    2. No adult ads
    3. I can put the ad in the footer of my site
    4. I can use it along with Adsense

I've been looking at FastClick and see people here are getting about .50 CPM. What other programs are there? What has been your experience?

I don't think any network would allow you to put their code on the footer

At least not any good network

Ok, well I guess I can be flexible on that one.

Do most of the CPMs give you a choice of banner size? For instance, I would consider replacing the adsense on this forum (where I stole the adsense placement from DP  ) with CPM for now.

I don't know if Fastclick qualifies as a "good network", but I use them, and I bury them all the way at the bottom, whiile keeping the higher paying ones (TF) on top. Fastclick just don't seem to care where you put their ads, as long as they generate revenue for you and them.

Actually, I've put all the ad networks (TF, Casale, Fastclick, Burst) below the fold many times, and I've never been told to put them above the fold. Oh sure, they TELL you that they want all their ads above the fold, but as to their enforcement of these terms, I've never seen them carry it out.

I think this is just a secret between them and us -- as long as no one squawks, I don't think they care.

doing something that isn't allowed doesn't mean that it is ok, you are not following Fastclicks TOS and a simple email from a competitor could get you kicked out of the network.

I'm a newbie to all of this, so please don't jump down my throat...

You've given me some good leads (TF, Casale, Fastclick, Burst), but I'd like to know:

    1. Can I use these on the same page as Adsense? I believe the only conflict would be if the ads were contextual, but if there is another conflict please let me know.
    2. What are the best paying ones? It sounds like TF (and I'm not sure what that is, I'm going to go research it now...), but please let me know if there are better paying ones.
    3. Many of my impressions come from the same IPs (it's a forum so I get alot of page views from each member). Do the CPM companies have a problem with this?
    4. Do you have any problems with them not reporting impressions? In other words, your stats say 3,000 today but they say 1,000?

Sorry for all the questions. I've dug around on fastclick's website for answers and all I seem to get is marketing hype. I suppose I could join and learn, but I hate having accounts at too many places (I already have WAY too many).

It sounds like you and FastClick have a dirty little secret. I think I'll follow the TOS just because I'd be scared of getting booted. To each his own!

Thanks again for all this info!

    1. There's no conflict with Adsense for any of them that I know of. (I've used them in conjuction with Adsense for years now, going on 4.)

    2. Tribal Fusion pays the best of all those mentioned.

    3. Okay, this may be a problem, as I didn't know you were talking about a forum. TF and others likes content sites, not forums. After being with TF for a while, I asked them if they allowed forums, and they said yes, but gave me a different code to implement, as to separate my forums from my content site. So, I don't know if you can get in with a forum, as I don't think that's something they actively accept.

    4. I've never had a problem with TF or any others, but that's just me. Others might have different experiences.

And finally, I've been putting Fastclick ads below the fold for years now. You can call it a "dirty secret" if you want, and I've seen tons of other sites do the same. So, you know, if they don't bother to enforce their own TOS, who am I to force them to do so?
