Need a couple of large JPG PNG files

I am testing an image upload and resize script.

The largest JPG file my camera (3.1 MP) has ever taken (1200 pictures) is 1963KB. Since there are now cameras out there that double that resolution I would like to test some higher resolutions.

If anyone has an image or two in JPG or PNG format that they would like to let me test with I would really appreciate it.

You can watermark, copyright or otherwise deface the image. I assure you it will only be used for testing. No adult pictures please.

PM me for my email address or if you have something that large online just post a link.

Why don't your press the print screen button on your keyboard (which will copy your screen to the clipboard), paste it into a graphics program, resize it about 10 times the size it is now, and then save to the formats you need?

    http://dev.helpedia.com/dp/img01.jpg] 6416x2043 , 3.558.772 bytes

    http://dev.helpedia.com/dp/img02.jpg] 4096x4096 , 12.442.074 bytes (sattelite view of Sydney)

http://dev.helpedia.com/dp/img03.jpg] 2048x2048 , 845.594 bytes (same sattelite view of Sydney, resized)

    http://dev.helpedia.com/dp/img04.jpg] 11448x16624 , 22,519,830 bytes ( sattelite view of Bucharest)

I think the resizing will be limited to the ammount of memory you allow PHP to use. For example a 4096x4096 image requires about 50 MB (from the Irfanview image information panel).

You'd better use Save as to save the images, there's a high chance that your browser will crash if you try to open the images directly.

PS. I'll keep the pictures only today, I don't want the links to be spread on the internet because I don't have unlimited bandwith :)
Ps2. Use DC++ or other p2p programs to search for satellite views or cities, usually those pictures are very large. Or resize these to various resolutions and save in png/gif etc..

    Thanks!

I only took the big one. That took awhile.

I would love to see someone download that on dialup.
