Hey guys...Rookie here...i decided to join this forum as i am looking to start a company. i am an engineering major so business or marketing are not my strongest points, so here i am looking for some help. Anyways getting to more important and productive part. I am looking to start a small business/company. Actually its something i have been doing on the side and it has been great. Since i have been doing so well for quiet a while now, i am looking to invest more and actually make it into an official business. Now you must wonder what is it that i do. Well i am A DJ (mobile Dj) and i have been working for someone. Money is great but there is so much more in this field other then just playing music. Other then the music the second part of this mobile sow biz is the Lighting Special effect and Video. The music part is being tackled by so many different people, but there is still not enough people doing Event Lighting. So what i am looking to do is Provide Rental And Services for People looking to hire event lighting company or DJs looking to do that same. Since its a Lighting Company that Does These amazing unforgettable light shows i want a name that sorta reflects that. I was taking an easy way out and was just going to make it D&S or D&S Lighting(my first Initial and my brothers First Int as we r partners in this) but that just completely leaves the "capturing what we do " out of the pic. SECOND one i thought of was AURA Design or Aura Arts.(aura is another word for light) but i dont know if thats it... SOOO i am here Help me out with whatever you guys can. I also read a Thread hear on "Catchy Line" i was hoping to come up with that too but nothing. anyways so let me know if you guys can come up with anything
My suggestion: Spend a few bucks for a professional who's get you both a name and logo - it's important not to waste time and focus what you really enjoy and what you're really good at.
