Hi Dear Programmers, I feel very unsatisfied with the programmer for this project. He is Ben Lambert . You can read more about his biodata in his website: joyapp.com Following is my diary of the project. 22nd April 2009 Day 1 Today i got a programmer. He is Ben Lambert from Australia and now staying in Japan. He promised to finish my project in 7-14 days. 23rd April 2009 Day 2 Nothing happened today and the programmer has nothing to show to me yet. 24th April 2009 Day 3 Today the programmer has started the basic template for my website. This is a very very simple html site. I started to doubt whether he is really capable in what he is doing. 25th April 2009 Day 4 Talked to the programmer. He told me that the task is now ahead of the schedule. I hope everything is going well 26th April 2009 Day 5 Today nothing really happen. The programmer told me he is looking into the xml feed. 27th April 2009 Day 6 The programmer has delivered nothing to me yesterday. I have a bad feeling about this. I afraid that he cant finish what i wanted. What should I do now? Should i get a new programmer? I emailed the programmer already. 28th April 2009 Day 7 He replied my email. He said he will show me some progress today evening. And it is already late nite now, nothing there yet. I really hate this programmer. Ok, i am going to get another programmer !! Ok guys, now, i need one programmer that can finish my project within 3 days. I have wasted $50 for the upfront payment to the incompetent programmer and 7 days without doing anything for me. So, i hope i can find get a good one. Please Contact me.
Everybody, i have to cancel the service of the programmer because of few reasons: 1. I am a customer, and i waited for him everyday just for him to show me some progress. And this 7 days what he show to me is only this: http://cenque.joyapp.com . I bet u guys know what that means. 2. I do not trust his words anymore. He has broken his words for few times. He always said want to show me something for day of tomorrow, so i waited and waited, nothing delivered. If he broken it once, that is ok, but this is continuously. I can not handle something important to such an irresponsible programmer. 3. Even if he can finish the project within 14 days, he surely can not provide very good after service support which i will need really really a lot. So, i need to give this up.
i am looking forward to work with you...but untill you provide more details about the project...i cannot quote anything...or say whether 3 days deadline will be sufficient or not... adding yoou on yahoo thanks
Worth noting that that Cenque.com is still not up and running 6 months later (or at least what's up there bears no resemblance to the initial project.) It's true I had bitten off a little too much work at the time, but perhaps if Engedi had been a little more patient... And he never gave me the full 14 days anyway, but rather fired me after 7. His expectations were way too high, 14 days for a project like this is an aggressive timeline that few developers could meet. Apparently Engedi thought it was such an easy task that he could walk right over to the next pedestrian developer and have them replace me, while still hitting his desired timeline and feature set. But evidently not.
This guy should be in the list of shit scammer. He has cheated $50 from me and deliever me nothing. No answer forever.. and after 6 months from the promised 14 days delivery date only reply to this thread. Where have you been? I hope you get what you deserved.
