I've got a domain that will be a cooperative, in other words it's free and will always be free. I want to make something of a cross between ebay/getafreelancer and 99designs all in one site...plus it needs to have an area where each user has their own "me" page, in a portfolio style maybe.. Remember, this is a FREE site so keep that in mind, your work will be done for the good of all web designers, programmers and promoters. If anyone or a group is interested in getting this started post here or send me a PM, I have the hosting, domain name and SSL already. I also have a good web/graphics designer lined up but i think it's best to get the coding framework done then move to the graphics and finally advertising. Are you looking for someone to give their time freely just for the sake of the others? I don't think they will be interested coz they're risking their source of living unless you have to give them a very nice deal.
For the most part, yes, and I tried to make it clear. If there are no takers so be it, it is what it is. It is a co-operative and will be one regardless of the support. At current I've already had two people offer support, but a team is needed, we will not rush this project either. Anyone that is interested is free to provide support and/or input, even if that is only being suggestions for what you'd like to see in a site like this.
