I am looking for a Cheap low end dedicated server from a trusted host.

My sites are still not that Big but my current host is not able to fulfill my requirements. VPS is not a solution for me as after few months, I eventually have to move to dedicated.

I need cPanel with 150GB BW + atleast 512 MB Ram. I have limited knowledge of hardware but I think this should be OK for a growing 75k unique/month site ?

    So suggestions please...

    What is your budget?
How much space do you expect to use?
Are you looking for managed server?

I'd have never chosen cPanel - too costly license and hogs system resources.

BTW, answer the questions put forward by markwebuk and we can help.

    1. Less than $80 surely, the cheaper the better. I have a small sites afterall. I am not a power user
    2. 10 GB shud be fine(more than fine)
    3. Ya, as I can't spend time in managing myself.

512 Mb Ram + 150 GB BW + 10 GB Space should do the job for me. I get around 75K uniques(a little less actually) so you can recommend any CPU of your choice ? also what OS shud I go for ?

Are you sure you're going for cPanel? Monthly license may cost over $30!

CPU : Celeron, P4, AMD Athlon will do.
OS : CentOS 4.4 (RedHat repackaging)

I'll be pointing you to some deals shortly.

Do you need a dedicated? Powervps.com have some nice VPS's there. I use them and their support is awsome.

I am not sure I will go with VPS here.

@agniv - the problem is it is hard to trust a host which has very little background. Can I trust such host with my sites which earns fairly good money. A single day of downtime can cost me alot

Downtimes can occur anywhere my friend; whether LT or the planet...search WHT for feedbacks on the companies. Sometimes you have better success with smaller companies ;)

Also, the companies who post regular offers have some background and are reputable enough.

I've heard about ManageMyBox. BoxBasic#04 with plesk 30 domain license(free) looks good with free management. (they use cheap bandwidth provider cogent though)

    I deserve a green rep ;)

    Since you're looking for cheap.

    dediwebhost.com is for you.

    cPanel for extra $25/month

I recommend them. I was with them for 6 months and never faced any problem..

You're using less space and bandwidth, i suggest you to get a VPS... cheaper and with budget less than $80 you can get higher machine and support...
