    Hi

I am currently working on the sales letter at:
    http://www.DomainCashSecrets.com

I have been asked to place a call to action at the bottom of the page in order to get 'spontaneous buyers' to click through to the order page.

What do you think this call to action should be, and where should it go?

    Thanks

    Zach

A call to action is where you tell the visitor it's time to purchase.

...Purchase now while this offer is still available.
...Hurry, this offer will not last long.
...It's time for you to cash in on the domain name explosion. Order now!

    etc, etc, etc.

Look at some of the sales pages of products that YOU'VE purchased, and see what kind of call to action they were using.

I would go with something such as

Act now!... unless you want to cry tomorrow
Time is money, so what are you waiting for?
If you don't like money, do nothing, someone else will steal you this chance.
Unlock endless cash flow placing your order today.

I personally like pitch5.php. Price promotions don't convince me unless I've visited the website and seen a higher price.

You should test various changes to find the best one. Asking people here is nice, but if you don't test, you're losing money.

I could tell you what I like, but if your target audience is different, you'll lose as a result.

Think about ways to make your call to action and closing much stronger.

So is pitch 5 better than the original?

I am not in a position to split test right now, due to external problems with possible affiliates. I just have to guess which is best..

What do you mean by this? How could I make it stronger?

    Thanks

    Zach

I'm just completing a really interesting course on e-marketing and persuasive content which has opened my eyes to how to sell online.

There's more to closing than just asking for it. I've rewritten this site www.dcmmoney.co.uk to include loads of psychological triggers and things that should get folks with debt problems to use them rather than look elsewhere.

The main thing is to get people to answer the question as to why they need it....without telling them. The close part apparantely works best if you have it as a limited offer - time or quantity.

The course is based on Web Copy That Sells (Maria Veloso).

Hello to all by the way!

I am going to suggest you split test and find out whats best for yourself...

Have you considered an early bird bonus?

They seem to work better for IM type products because IMers are sick of the same pitches that include limited stock and or time...
