Need a $50 investment

To buy a domain before it goes off market, and I wouldn't be able to move money into my paypal account for a couple of weeks to do it because of the hassles of living as a foreigner in China.

This is totally off the wall ridiculous, but if someone wants to drop the $50 into my paypal, I'll give you 25% of the profits the domain receives for life.

No promises about amount of revenue generated (but full disclosure if/when it happens with screen shots, and possibly login access for someone who seems cool), no info about the domain for anyone but the person who invests, etc.

Basically I'm looking for an eyes closed investment of a small amount of money so I can get something before it's sold to someone else, and I'm willing to share lifetime revenue with a partner, and do all the development myself.

    No further information.

I know how ridiculous that sounds, and I know how scammy it looks. But, I'll tell you up front - Although I can't promise ANYTHING, I think it will be a very very good investment.

If someone is ready to do it, PM me for pp details. Otherwise - nothing else to say. :)

You risk $50. I'll risk my rep, and if you're not happy with the investment I'll refund your money and buy you out by the end of this month.

Also - I would prefer to work with someone who would really be interested in developing it with me, or helping me to promote it, too. Either way, it's 25%.

If I had anything in my paypal account right now (at the moment 0.01USD :D lol)
I'd probably lend it to you.

But since 0.01USD is just a few cents short of 50USD, I'm afraid I can't help you out.

Maybe there's someone else who'll lend it to you.

    greetz,

It's not a huge rush . . . I just have a chance to get it, and I want to before someone else buys it.

If I have to wait, I'll wait or try to ask my sister back home in the U.S. to pick up a prepaid credit card or something.

it's just a search term (exact, no hyphens or extra words, etc.) that has about 50k searches in overture and is for a very profitable niche, so my impulse shopping mechanism is going crazy. :)

Anyway - this is well outside of my own normative behavior, and unless somebody had a much higher post count and better rep than me, I probably wouldn't do it, so I don't mind if nobody else does either.

As I caveated everything before - no details, no promises, and I could be completely wrong about the value.

But man oh man . . . Do I want this domain.

Whilst I'm sure you are genuine, are posts like this allowed on DP?

Send us a PM, we can help you. We have just had an extra great month and we are also signing around 8 new sub-affiliates a day via our DigitalPoint signature, so it will be a chance to give something back.

    About the above post . . .

I've decided to withdraw this. I'll probably just have my sister pick up a godaddy gift card for me or something, and wait out the week and try to get this.

I'm pretty sure it has $xx,xxx/year potential, but ... Since it's a domain and I can't give out the specific details, and so on - even though I would refund if there were any investors remorse - It's not worth having my name dragged through the mud if someone decides they're unhappy with what I spend the money on.

Like everything else, it's a calculated risk. The risk is a bit hedged by knowing the Overture results are around 50k/month, and knowing that I could rank in the top 5 for the term easily, and that the niche is a no brain moneymaker, but. . . Like I said - it's not worth getting my name bounced around in any negative posts if someone isn't satisfied when there's a 70% or so chance that it'll still be available when I'm able to purchase, because it's not listed on any webmaster sites . . .

All that said - I will get it, whether I do it immediately or whether it takes me a week to sort out the money transfer stuff, and if someone has extensive knowledge of the tourism/travel/hospitality niche, an inclination to develop this project with me (and I would sign a contract on this), and an existing content network that's at least comparable to mine to use to get over the initial hump of ranking for this term - I would be interested in talking to you, and possibly partnering with you in a legal way, or doing ads/affiliate rotation in exchange for some real, concrete work on this.

I have a job. I teach English at a university. From the looks of your post you could probably use that service more than anything offered here at DP.

It's simple. Subject-Verb-Object. If you don't have a verb, you don't have a complete sentence. If you can't form a coherent sentence, you probably can't form coherent thoughts, either.

And I won't get into a my bank account/cock/brain damage is greater than yours argument in a forum, but I have plenty of money. As I said earlier in the thread - I just have difficulty moving money around because I don't live in my home country, and handling these things is not so easy in the so-called "developing world". . .

Anyway, thanks for the extra post. Maybe I'll get a .00000000001 cent adsense click out of your stupidity, and then you'll at least have been good for something, at some point.

Anyway, like I said: Request is withdrawn because I don't want to read stuff like this.
