Hi, I have 3 websites, and a blog and I'm only making a few cents a day through adsense. I really need to increase my traffic. Any ideas on what I can do. My sites were missing forums, which I have now added so I hope that will hope some.

Hi Conflict. Read the traffic section of these forums. Also, improve your SEO techniques to rank higher in google to get more organic traffic. Put your site url in your signature. Go to other forums that your site relates to and post in their forums. Put your site url in your sig on those forums too and post alot. Just a few to get the party started.

You wouldn't want to spend your time on any seroius SEO building backlinks with free domains, like dropping say 1,000 backlinks with 110mb.com in the url becuase you don't own it and you could lose all those backlinks when you decide to get a real domain...
if you want to increase traffic, then you either buy traffic or spend serious time on SEO. there is no easy way. everyone on this forum would like to get more traffic and are working hard for it. thats the name of the game.
Here's a suggestion... Get your own domain names for those sites that are on on 110mb. I'm glad to see they are still around, but it will help if you have your own domains. Once you do have your own domains, start submitting like crazy to directories. But use anchor text to match the keywords you want to be found for in search engines. Look at my sig for a list of directories. About the adsense... Don't use top and bottom banners. These stick out like a sore thumb. You want to mix adsense in where you content is so that people see it and click on it. Make sure your adsense fonts match the page as best as possible. Remember, you are trying to blend it in. I know people are making money on blogspot. However, I am not sure on the limitations. For those with wordpress, which is included in many hosting accounts, you can use the deluxe adsense plugin. That will give you better ad placement. The problem is that you could be giving away gold bars on your website and noone will find you. Therefore, you want to work hard on building links back to your site. Submit to directories, submit articles, bookmark, etc. It's a lot of work, but you will learn and get better at it all. I did buy some, but it nots quality, and I won't be doing that again For all I know, its the sites bot that is visting my sites. Wasted ten bucks on that one.
Don't buy traffic until you've worked to get your own traffic for free. You will learn a lot in the process and be able to spot duds a mile away. The learning curve is tough, but if it were easy everyone would be rich.
You can get in trouble from Adsense buying bulk traffic/ particapted in traffic exchanges I wouldn't do it.
There's a post in the freebies section that is giving away from domains. I think you even get to choose the domain. Check it out. Work on sites that you own, trust me. It's a lot better. If you get enough traffic and don't want the site anymore, you can just park it (there's a link to a premium parking provider in the my sig) and still continue to make money-->but that's only if you own the site.
Those movies have a huge following, so you should be able to get plenty of "free" exposure through message boards.
Use digg to promote some interesting stories about Star Wars, anything techy like Star Trek or Star Wars works well on Digg.com if you have interesting stuffs such as photos or breaking news.
I suppose there is no webmaster that wouldn't want more traffic - I know that I can never get enough! I have to agree with earlier posts, submit to as many directories as possible, and if you don't have the time, find a good directory submission service and pay them to do the work! Most of my traffic comes from directories.
Having your own domain(s) might help in the LONG run. In the short term... you can buy traffic using Google's Adwords system. Or you can get cheap visitors from StumbleUpon.com/Ads Good luck.

You need to get more inbound links and create more contents. This sums everything up. To get inbound links, you can exchange links, buy one-way links, and create higher quality contents your visitors can link to. To create more contents, you can write more articles yourself, have articles written by freelances $10 each, and give away freebies.
