Buying Need 5 min of help with mysql DB Problem / Question

    I logged into my DB via phpMyadmin and i am trying to manually change a password of one of my users. the problem is all the passwords look something like this: ma9sePmMwr9mg

    They all start with "ma" and then some string but I have no clue how to decipher it. Can i just change the value to anything I want? For instance change the password to "work" and then my user would be able to login again?

    I need help ASAP!!
