Free directories with PR5-9 and those that actually accept submissions are becoming increasingly rare. AddURL has a good collection of high PR directories.

I tend to believe that an approved submission in PR1 directory is better than rejected submission in PR 8 directory ;-)

Rule number one - just submit to as many as possible. Directories with PR.1 will/can increase in rank so don't underestimate them.

Thanks for the list - I wonder Hot Frog UK is not in there though? They accept free submissions and seem to add the link within a few days.

BTW - Does anyone have a list of free UK directory sites? I am trying to persaude Google that one of our clients is in the UK (which they are) as they are refusing to index them for co.uk searches
