    Hi all,

I am looking to hire a part-time news writer for our blog iPhoneWorld.ca.

    Requirements:
    - Good English skills. You will be posting news that no one will correct, as such you should be able to write in English without spelling/grammatical mistakes.
    - You need to be able to handle iPhone-related news articles. As such it's recommended that you own an iPhone/iTouch, or at least have an idea of how it works.
    - Knowledge of WordPress is required.

    Job hours & description:
    - 1.5 hour a day, Monday through Friday every week.
    - You can post anytime you want -- no hour constrictions.
    - You get weekends off.
    - You will be collecting and posting latest iPhone news on our site (I'll show you where to find them).
    - You're expected to write a minimum of 2 news articles a day (if they're long), or 3 news articles if they're short.
    - The articles have to be at least 150 words long.

    Payment:
    - Total payment is $10/day = $50/week.
    - Paid on a weekly basis -- you'll need to send me an invoice via Paypal every weekend.
    - Payment will be done by Paypal at the end of each weeks for $50.

    Performance:

    - Once you're hired, your performance will be constantly evaluated. If we see that you're missing workdays without prior notice or end up posting 1 articles a day instead of 2-3 you will be subject to immediate termination (although you will still get paid for the work you've done until then).

    Copyright
    - We expect ALL our writers to post ORIGINAL, self-written articles. Attempts to copy/paste articles from other sites are subject to immediate termination without pay.
    - iPhoneWorld.ca will own full rights to all articles posted. You cannot repost them elsewhere.

    How to apply:
    - PM me with some sample iPhone news article (150-200 words) so I could evaluate your writing. Spelling mistakes in text is an automatic no-no.

I'm looking to fill this position by Monday.

    Hi friend,

#1 Can you send me a tech-related sample news article that you wrote via PM?
#2 Are you familiar with how the iPhone works; are you comfortable writing tech news articles about programs or devices for it?

    Best,

    Dennis

    Hi there,

At the moment I'm collecting applications along with sample news articles. I'm planning to review them all tomorrow and that's when I will pick the best candidate (that depends on each individual's writing skills and familiarity level with the subject). Hoping to have this position filled by Monday.

    Looking forward to your submission!

    Best,

    Dennis
