Hi all, I am looking to hire a part-time news writer for our blog iPhoneWorld.ca. I am specifically looking for folks from India, however if you live elsewhere and feel that you would fit the criteria, feel free to apply. Requirements: - Good English skills. You will be posting news that no one will correct, as such you should be able to write in English without spelling/grammatical mistakes. - You need to be able to handle iPhone-related news articles. As such it's recommended that you own an iPhone/iTouch, or at least have an idea of how it works. - Knowledge of WordPress is required. Job hours & description: - 2 hours a day, Monday through Friday every week. - You can post anytime you want, as long as it's 2 hours a day on weekdays. - You get weekends off. - You will be collecting and posting latest iPhone news on our site (I'll show you where to find them). - On average we'd expect 4-5 articles per each day/2 hours session. - The articles are on average 250 words, so around 25 minutes for each is probably more than fair. Payment: - Total payment is $300/month. - Paid on a bi-weekly basis. - Payment will be done by Paypal at the end of each two weeks for $150. - Based on 10 hours a week, your approximate hourly rate will be $300/40 hours = $7.50 USD/hour. Performance: - Once you're hired, your performance will be constantly evaluated. If we see that you're missing workdays without prior notice or end up posting 2 articles a day instead of 4-5 you will be subject to immediate termination (although you will still get paid for the work you've done until then). Copyright - We expect ALL our writers to post ORIGINAL, self-written articles. Attempts to copy/paste articles from other sites are subject to immediate termination without pay. - iPhoneWorld.ca will own full rights to all articles posted. You cannot repost them elsewhere. How to apply: - PM me with some sample iPhone news article (150-200 words) so I could evaluate your writing. Spelling mistakes in text is an automatic no-no. P.S. Approximate starting date will be on Tuesday or Wednesday next week (July 14 or 15). P.P.S. Please note that you will be required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement in order to insure that all data you receive from us remains confidential, while the articles you post remain exclusive property of iPhoneWorld.ca
