nedd help in joomla

i am very new in joomla cms. and i have a site in joomla and the problem i am facing in this is only of its meta description, it's meta description is to long while i have seen other sites have short description.here is a screenshot of it.

and i want to make it shorter please tell me how to do it. i am using joomla 1.0.15.

Have you looked in Global Configuration as well as Template Manager?

Do you have any other SEO modules installed? Have a look as it might automatically generate keywords.

 

i m using only sh404sef.
can you recommend any SEO module for joomla 1.0.15.

 

You can change your site meta description through the global.
You will change specific page meta description from the article parameters.

 

edit configuration.php file in root of your website. i recommended Artio SEF extension for Joomla!
