So what did we learn from that?
If all other things are the same the number of backlinks (even 1)counts (obviously). Each page has just one more backlink from the subdomain that is below it in the serps

Possibly the order in which the backlinks appear in a page matter? On all the pages that these subdomains have backlinks the backlinks appear in the order of the google serps.

Just a couple of simple observations.

will push DP to the top of the search engines for the phrase
