Although I can't really understand how or why, I've become hooked on The Wire, and have spent the last month or so watching it on DVD. I'm running low on remaining episodes now (half way through S5), and I'm starting to realize that if I don't find a replacement, I'll be back to watching whatever crap is served up on Australian TV. Do I start watching Homicide: Life on the Street (I didn't see it first time around), or start another NYPD Blue marathon, or even worse, do I finally get around to watching the 1980s DVDs of The Bill (back when it was good). [?] Give me some suggestions... I'm almost tempted to buy the box set of The Equalizer, which is a good indication of how desperate I am for something decent to watch.
