The correct forum to post about webhosting is : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=98

and regarding your hosting question I would recommend you to first look for offers here and also try searching at webhostingtalk.com, don't forget to read reviews about webhost you select at webhostingtalk.com

Should be pretty easy to find hosts that offer that level of bandwidth for the price you are interested in.
I concur that webhostingtalk would be a great place to look.

There are quite a number of "unlimited" hosts popping out.. i am not sure how reliable are they.

But you must be prepare for any consequences if you hit their "limit"

I would have to agree. Even though companies promote unlimited bandwidth, there is still a threshold and if you reach it your account will be suspended. It's unlimited in the sense that the company doesn't believe anyone will reach the threshold. Additionally, a server can only handle so much --- so you can have the "theorized" unlimited bandwidth, but if your server can't handle a large load then it doesn't really matter.

    Good point SSANZ...

    Unlimited bandwidth doesn't exist.

It's more recognisable and understandable with the formal word as "Unmetered bandwidth" because they don't give you a substantial limit of bandwidth you're entitled to.

Unlimited is not possible in any aspect of life and there is nothing without limits. Unlimited is not possible b'coz bandwidth is a commodity that someone needs to pay for eventually. The term unlimited is only a marketing strategy go through the TOS of companies offering unlimited space or bandwidth and you will find some restrictions after all nothing in the world is unlimited.

You are only going to get yourself into trouble down the track, for either "hogging server resources" or just loads of downtime. Be careful in your search (and i highly doubt you need 2TB bandwidth!).

DO NOT go with HostMonster. I have had so many problems with them. When you ask them on their support chat/phone about slow service they will give you a canned response about your ISP being slow even though you have had numerous emails from other users who complain about how slow your site is.

HostMonster = Overselling and REALLY REALLY SLOW

I have been with 10+ hosts and never had this problem.

it would be better if you setup a limit say 200 GB in your case, you cannot use unlimited bandwidth without killing the server even if an company offer it.
In most cases you will be booted off before you reach anywhere near "unlimited".

it would be better to calculate the traffic and take a limited plan, your connection will be much better ;)

I would be cautious of using a shared hosting provider that offered unlimited bandwith. I would bet they have small print in their terms of service that states that they can deactivate your site if it "overloads server resources". If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

There is nosuch thing as "unlimited" bandwidth but there can be "unmetered" bandwidth, just dont expect it on shared hosting.
