Thanks for sharing your story, I have to be off-line most of today, but just want to reply to this real quick. I see this story as being ironic. If G-d existed, and this story were actually true, it would indicate, at least to me, that G-d is guilty of not being generous to the poor. In life, I think most of us do what we can, or are capable of. In the story, it's of a nun who had dedicated her entire life, and here she is in her afterlife, and G-d is being stingy with the grass.

Atheists are God's people, just like we Christians. It is just they don't know what to follow yet. Sometimes along the road God gives us a couple of hints and we listen carefully to those. But if you refuse, that is your choice. Eternal Heaven is prepared for those who accept good with clean faith and heart.
What Rebecca saw was just a glimpse of heaven. It is nothing compared to the eternal heaven prepared for those who follow God.

Actually it makes sense to me. This particular nun had a reputation of being a little *Cheap*. But she went to heaven, didn't she? It illustrates an important point. Not everyone who gets to heaven lies in the same level. God made it clear in the bible to be generous to others, especially those who are in need. There are people who devoted their whole lives to God but there are people who also live with God but sometimes fall for a sin. What is important is to reach the eternal place with God. The grass in my opinion had a symbolic reference of their work.
Of course, God only judges you within your range and what you're capable of.
However, like I said, God is fair...
Btw, that was not the end of the story.

I typically don't comment on most of the god stuff, as I don't believe in it - but as you are typically very polite and respectful I naturally don't want to offend you. That said - this post gave me the feeling of perhaps wanting someone to convert.

Please tell me that it just came across that way and your intention was not to encourage others to convert. I'm trying to be polite, just felt a little "off" to me.

    Alexis,

Trust me, If I try to convert you or someone here for 10 years I will fail unless YOU reach out to God yourself. There is nothing more powerful than knowing the truth.
Conversion has to come from you. I'm just a follower spreading faithful good words. If you want to hear them, you're welcome to. If not, I still respect that.

That's cool. I just wanted to ask as it gave me a weird feeling reading it - hope you weren't offended.
