Nddb’s FrontPage hater’s forums. I decided to give nddb a spot to vent his FrontPage frustrations.
I sincerely haven't used it enough to know if you are being sarcastic or not, but to go off on a tangent : http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=h...automatically)&doctype=(detect+automatically) Google doesn't validate, I always wondered why. And it's not really the WYSIWYG part of frontpage I don't like, it's probably not the best, but it seems alright for WYSIWYG, it's the server side part I think is foolish.
Love the monkey in the closet from the Family guy!!!! LOLLLLLOOOLLL Nddb’s FrontPage haters forums = FrontPage sucks. Great now can you let the rest of us post about issues and resolving them now that we have your FrontPage haters wisdom that it sucks.
Yeah Front Page sucks, I know it and could care less. The majority of my sites are in FP, and I can update them much easier than anything else, I get the traffic I want, and rank in the top 5 in Google for all my key phrases [except for one]
Gatordun, Heh, seriously though. It's not a bad wysiwyg editor. And it has a lot of nice features, yes I have used it before. It can make a webpage that looks good. I don't dispute that. It's just the server side stuff it requires that makes it a hassle. I *BELIEVE* in the newer versions they have options to upload via ftp, I could be wrong, or maybe I'm thinking of dreamweaver. But at any rate, what you do on your PC is good stuff... what happens when you publish the pages is not good. That's all I'm saying, the rest is in jest.
OK I can agree with that hassle. I've got front page sites located as redirects within other sites. Uploading them is a pain, I have to disable the .htaccess at the top level site before I can upload the inner site otherwise FP claims that the FP extensions are not installed. I figured out how to do that by accident, and I'm not sure if it's a front page problem or a hosting provider installation error.
MACDESIGN What path are you using to upload? http://subdomain.yourdomain.com try http://yourdomain.com/subdomain
