    How many "cities" originally had Native American names ;)

    Cities and places are different. They are either reverting to their original name or paying homage to those who were originally there.

    They aren't created to entertain people by mocking their traditions. Things that have always been respected in the Native American community only to be used for something like a Football Game.

    As Rob said, if they have an objection to it, why should it continue? Its their heritage after all.

    of course if you are using it in an offensive or slanderous way then that should stop. But, simply using the name or symbol alone is not offensive.
