    Now, it will go for like reg fee or maybe just a few bucks more but if you want me to suggest, I'd recommend you to develop it to some news website.

    only if you attempt to profit off of the NBC brand. You can actually title your site as something like North British Columbia News (easy, just an example for NBC) and it would not infringe on any trademarks.

    Wrong. Trademarks don't work that way. The domain name alone is enough to cause a likelihood of confusion and is trademark infringement - no value.
