For a small website, you may opt for bread crumbs. The best navigation structure is that in which every important page is just 3 clicks deep from the home page.

If no one minds Id like to ask the following Navigation has to be user friendly no doubts there. But if there’s not much content to be added on the website itself ( the blog runs separately and accumulates most of the fresh content) Would it be a good idea to expand already existing pages in to separate ones For example: turn the about us page in to 3 separate pages like “history†“approach†“people†and use those for a better network of inside links?
