Even I've been waiting since a long time for my order to be completed. I am one of the patient kinds so gave her or him rather, enough time and for what? A 16 year old scam artist? Jenny or James or whatever please respond asap if you don't want to be labelled as a scammer here!

As for the ones filing disputes, make sure you file them within 45 days of your payment. If someone has received their completed order recently please let us know here.

    EDIT:
I am just going to wait for 2 more days before filing a Paypal dispute. I think we all have waited enough.

JaceT, I can't believe you're falling for that "gimme a day or two" excuse. It's over... your money has already been spent on a shiny new toy.

I will be taking these steps beginning immediately, as I had warned the Seller of my actions should he/she not follow through with my order. As expected the Seller did not follow through with my order.

    1. Will be leaving the Seller negative itrader.
    2. Will be reporting the Seller to a mod and requesting a ban.
    3. Will be lodging a dispute with Paypal.

I urge all of you who have been scammed by this Seller to do the same things as I am doing. We have got to get these people off the boards.

3 iTraders.. I should have known. I have got nothing back either. we will also file a dispute then.

Maybe DP should go to a paid model for new people to offer services or you can offer services with 25+ itraders.
Or something else..someone here on the thread who tried 6 offers and gets scammed on 3 of them, there is seriously something wrong here. I am done with newbies.

    Thanks

you are right. DP more and more turns to be the scammers paradise. If mods are not thinking about
a plan "fast" this forum could soon die out. So, the above proposal is a one suggestion. DO SOMETHING!

The paypal resolution center reports that paypal is STILL waiting for a response from the seller on the claim. Glad I paid by credit card in case they can't collect from the seller. Either way I'll get my money back. In case it didn't occur to anybody who is new to online purchases, always pay by credit card - never by debit card and never never by direct withdrawl from a bank account.

Perhaps DP should consider some sort of escrow for services payments similiar to how eLance does it. They could charge a small amount to cover it, or go through a third party..... ?

That's exactly what I was thinking. In the one month or so that I've been on this forum, 4 out of 9 orders, including this one, have turned out to be outright scams, plus one who apparently couldn't deliver and refunded my money voluntarily, so you're talking about a 50/50 proposition from my limited experience. I think something needs to be done and setting up an escrow funds is a great idea.

This so called "jenny" hasnt been on since june 25th. Something else, VERY interesting about "Jenny1985":

I had an offer running a few weeks ago which was a CPA/Blackhat method.

She bought my report/method...and immediately after she bought she sent me a VERY rude PM telling my that the report is "rubbish" since it is illegal and blackhat. This is ok, blackhat is not for everyone.

HOWEVER - she threatened me in the PM that she will report me to the CPA networks because i sold a blackhat method!

    BEWARE!!!!

James's or Jenny's or whatever's profile page shows this:

    Last Activity: Jun 30th 2009 7:28 am

So he/she was here and didn't bother to reply to waiting buyers? I have opened a Paypal dispute. I am still wondering why this member is still active here? Can't we report scammers? :(

For those who paid with PayPal like me, you probably already know this, but you need to escalate the dispute, otherwise PayPal won't take any action on your dispute and it will auto-expire after 30 days.

Paypal resolved my claim and I was issued a refund today. Those hesitating to file should probably do so as soon as possible.

Paypal also resolved my claim and issued a refund. Why doesn't DP take action against this person? Hopefully the negative itraders will deter any future buyers.

Thanks to frenzee for pointing out that one needs to escalate the dispute. Got my refund within 24 hours of escalating it.
