    You do not qualify. First, you are not from the U.S.A., as specified. Second, your English is not standard English meaning that you are probably not even from the English speaking world. And, finally, your rate for substandard English is too high.

    $12.00 is loads. He must be making out good if people are actually paying that rate to him - albeit I have no idea the result or end product. I only charge $2.00 per 100 words so I'm shocked to see these ridiculous "offers" on the forums here and inclined to believe it's contributed to why things are so dead now.

    Nope, if you can't even write a quick intro in reasonable, casual English there's no way the OP is going to be convinced the writer is "native English from the USA".

    Too many people fudge the facts, outsource the work etc. Personally, I think Australians can write quite well too, although some may object. The US requirement might be because they need someone familiar with cultural stuff or politics. Like, if you got me to write an article about American healthcare, education, race relations, or gun ownership I'd struggle to write it from an American perspective because I think their systems suck.
