Millions are suffering from acne and uncommon to popular belief this is NOT exclusive to teenagers. In fact more adults suffer from chronic acne than teenagers. This is most likely because teenagers usually get one type of acne, while there are hordes of acne problems for adults to battle. Teenage acne usually produces one or two pimples on the face which will grow until squeezed or reabsorbed back into the body. Though squeezing is the fastest way to get rid of a pimple it is not advisable as this will leave a scar on the face. Adult acne is a little harder to deal with but does not appear as often. Acne outbreaks can be very unpredictable and always seem to come at the worse time possible, like right before a vacation or the starting of a new school year; causing much embarrassment to individual. But not to worry there are many safe, easy, and cost effective ways to treat acne. The most common form of treatment is the application of acne cream to the face though most of the creams on the market do not seem to work there are a few that do. Ask friends which ones they would recommend or read online product reviews. A natural alternative and probably the cheapest way to go would be fresh lemon juice. Applying fresh lemon juice to the affected areas and also drinking a glass of fresh lemon water at the start of your day can greatly improve the health of your skin. NOTE- this does not include lemonade; as sugar may cause you acne to flare up! A little more pricey and probably the most effective way to treat acne is ‘Laser Acne Treatment’ where laser machines are adjusted and upgraded to totally clean the pores and facial skin. In our age of technology this is becoming an ever more popular choice of treatment for acne. And for good reason because it delivers amazing results even improving and almost completely removing scars. But please keep in mind “An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure†do everything to avoid acne in the first place.
