    If you want to start getting technical, they don't use native (as in original, which is more how you're using the word) English in the UK either. And I've heard as much mangled English from UK colleagues and friends as American ones. Native simply means it's your first language. There are different branches of that language, none of which are "true" English anymore. Shakespeare's long since gone.
