National Debt = 28 Eiffel Towers made of Pure Gold

Wow, I would say the UK is the worst off on that list. That whole country is small than some of our states, yet they are almost as much as USA's entire debt. Amaizing!

 

1. Hoard gold/silver or any commodities, dump $
2. When TSHTF, you probably won't want to be in a major city, there is going to be no jobs for most people. Ideally you'd want to be able to support yourself as much as possible (I know, it's easier to say than do). It'll be much easier to make a living in farming, construction, etc. than in web design. A good way to start would be to pickup basic gardening or craftsaman skills. I know because I lived through the collapse of the USSR. I also suggest getting familiar with alternative/herbal medicine, because I don't see many people being able to afford insurance or a stay in a hospital
3. Stock up on non-perishable food, if you have storage space.
