Thanks for not answering the simple question o-nation. In normal life people expect simple answers to simple questions.

Little kids who are brats act differently. If their parents are on the ball they discipline them to teach them how to act normally until the kids learn their lessons. If they grow up still acting against the norms of all societies ever and continue to act that way they become extremists.

In the middle east they blow up themselves and others. In the US congress they refuse to pass an increase in the debt ceiling limit.

In the US congress extremists will do something that is entirely against the best interests of the nation, and something that has been done every time, without extreme difficulties throughout the history of the US.

Take the debt ceiling for instance. Here is some history on it:

But in 2011 extremist tea partiers refused to do this. They refused to pay the bills the US owed. They could have done it. Those bills reflected past promises by the US to meet its obligations. Extremists didn't want to pay. Instead of meeting the obligations of the US they came up with entirely new arguments to the issue at hand.

That is a lot like me asking you a simple question, you refusing to answer and coming up with utterly different topics. How does the world move forward with folks who act like you have done?

I guess the majority of the nation will confront the issue of same sex marriage. Many people will simply state how they feel. For instance:

About 80 people who have had and currently have prominence in the GOP are willing to be straightforward.

On this issue you are not one of those who would be straightforward. Moreover you not only don't respond to the simple question about how you feel by launching into a diatribe linking how you feel on a totally different issue to a lot of names, and have the nerve to assign beliefs to them.

One has a hard time giving any credence to such a radical response.

Its a lot like the extremists who instead of being willing to take responsibility to pay the bills that the US owes, created entirely new arguments and discussions never before encountered by all the responsible legislators before them.

Now of course that has led us to sequestration, a situation that could push the US into recession.

    Extremism....it makes bin laden proud.

Interesting comment, coming from a guy who tries to call people who belittles those who disagree with him, calling them anti social, spoiled children, and "extremists". If you think people should have to answer every question, answer me this question. How long have you been molesting small children?

Seriously though, as much as the president enjoys it, I simply don't have the time for childish word games. The world moves forward with people who act like I do because people who act like i do are the ones moving the world forward. Unlike our president, people like me realize that a democracy is not run by edict.

People like me realize you can't lead by belittling people, calling them "extremists", spoiled children, or other childish names.

People like me realize that those people sitting in those seats in the house of congress, a coequal branch to the presidency, were put there by other people like me, as direct representatives of the people who elected them.

People like me realize that those people reflect the views of their constituency, whether we are talking about gay marriage or the size of government.

People like me realize that we have to deal with people like you, even though we might wish it were otherwise.

People like me realize that the case must be made against the piss poor ideas put forward by people like your president, instead of simply resorting to ad hominem attacks, which are completely unproductive.

Tea Party: The government spends too much.
EarlPearl and Democrats: Yah? Well you are a poopy head!

In the spirit of this post, I thought you would especially appreciate the tweet by Mr. Plouffe of the White House, in response to unflattering reporting by Bob Woodward, the guy who brought down Richard Millhouse Nixon.

    Plouffe tweets:
Watching Woodward last 2 days is like imagining my idol Mike Schmidt facing live pitching again. Perfection gained once is rarely repeated.

This is what the official mouthpeice of the Obama WhiteHouse has to say. Way to stay classy. What a disgrace.
