I´m hoping to meet some other poker affiliates here, to share our stories and experiences with. I am a poker affiliate and have promoted online poker rooms since about 2004, but so many had such bad treatment that I dropped so many of them. Often the larger rooms have such bad treatment towards affiliates, or some rooms ripping us affiliates off, it is frustrating. I had two rooms not pay me my commissions (I am not sure if I may say the name because I wouldn´t say good things about them) and a third bad experience I had was I had 214 players under my account at a room and they were bought out and the new owners decided to close the old affiliate accounts as they transferred players , so in other words they pretty much took away all the hard work I did the past 2 years and now I earn nothing from them (I was earning about 89 dollars per month). So I am the type of person that likes to applaud good affiliate programs, and I guess NastyDuck poker would be the best affiliate treatment I have gotten in all my time promoting poker and casinos. And their player promotions are cool, I already won an ipod there (got deuces poker at a table) and got a free tshirt from them, which looks cool. And now I am hoping to win EPT tickets in their freerolls, which would be awesome. So my tip to those promoting casinos or poker to try them out, they kick butt Let me hear your stories about your experiences with affiliate programs in the poker world, good and bad stories Talk with everyone soon.
Sounds good, I might check it out. Best way I found is to put on free games on all the major sites..you get tons of traffic that way....
