nasty surprise

    i got a nasty surprise this morning when i checked my reciprocal links. of the 10 or so sites that i monitor, half showed up as having ZERO backilinks.

    i checked these manually and the links are still there.

    was wondering if this is just a glitch or is it something bigger?

    Did you try it both with and without the www in front? Sometimes that changes results.

    google only shows backlinks that have a PR4 or higher...maybe that's the reason.

    nacho45-no, the zero result came via DP

    ThinkBling-no drop in PR

    toddieg - links *reappeared* in DP the next day.

    In past Google has was also not showing BL from link pages means page like link.html, link.php,links.php ect.

    Y seems to be faster in incorporating changes - changed dynamic pages three days ago already included and showing in Y not in G - both visit daily.

    Linkcheck on Y I use
    linkdomain:mydomain.com -inurl:mydomain.com

    which also seems to show new links within days rather than waiting for a G update.
