Well, truth be told: Russians have alot of tech that is much more advanced than anything US has. Their missile tech is best in the world, second to none. Their nuclear arsenal is same. They have the best anti air systems in the world, S-400 series that guards moscow. Cruise missiles that are much more advanced than anything on the US side. Those are only few things that comes to mind right away.

The american space program is in trouble. They simply don't have the money to fund it, Which is a shame. Over the next 20 years space will be dominated by either europe or china. When russian eventually join the EU we will pool our money and expertise and go full throttle into space. I might have a bet at the bookies that the first man to walk on mars will be a member of the eu.

Putin already said that Russia will do business with all countries. And Medvedev said that at the time when USSR was isolated from the rest of the world they still were in business.
