Nasa admits global warming data is flawed...

Looks like Rush was right...global warming is caused by humans, i.e. humans at NASA...after a blogger pointed out their error, NASA has now admitted that their data was flawed showing a huge upswing in the average global temperature. Just more proof global warming only exists in idiots heads (like Owl Gore's).

I find this utterly astonishing but this is about the only subject that we both agree on. The great global warming con. :)

lol, you guys really need to read the article before drawing a conclusion....

In other words this was a minor flaw in the data that proves meaningless to whether global warming is true or false.

It was hopped on by a loud mouth (admittedly water carrying) gas bag conservative radio show host who is trying to act like an expert in the field.

I mean even I'm on the fence about global warming but come on guys, use your damn brains. This means absolutely nothing.

You obviously just made up your mind on a big issue like global warming based on the title of a damn thread.

Conservative strategists like Karl Rove thrive on people like you ;)

Do you remember global cooling? I don't, it was too long ago.
Point is, it's all bullshit. The media is ALWAYS looking for something to scare people with. What happen to SARS? Bird Flu? Acid Rain? The media creates these "ZOMG THE SKY IS FALLING!" stories and sometimes they stick. So happens global warming stuck.
The only reason the global warming scam has taken off so well is because of media, information is so easy to get and distribute now days. Al Gore saw an opening and capitalized on it, making millions. You can't blame him for that.

Yep it sure is possible he did.

However I was just pointing out that people were making decisions on the subject without actually reading the article. If they did it states pretty clearly that even the accuser doesn't believe his findings actually disprove anything.

Have you ever looked at how the weather is now compared to even 5 years ago. It has been changing DRAMATICALLY places that have never got snow are now getting it. The places that never got tornados or really bad weather at all is now getting it the worst.

Winters are much warmer overall and snowfall is much less in Canada then 5 years ago.

Anyone can write an article saying whatever they want. You post it because its exactly what YOU want to hear is that such problems do not exist. Obviously you do not pay attention to the world around you.

    Yea, I do.
The world around me hasn't changed.
The temp has risen...what...1degree in how many decades? And I'm supposed to go buy a prius now? lol

Speaking of cars and global warming, my roommate just bought an 04 Pontiac GTO 5.7Liter V8
I actually told him on the way home he is contributing to global warming with this gas guzzler and killing all of man kind. I suggested he go get himself a prius. It was funny :)
    (you had to be there)

P.S. That F'ing car breaks the tires loose in 3rd gear. Other than a Viper, it's the fastest car I have ever driven in. And it's a 1-owner, carfax buyback guarantee, 18k miles, for only $18,995
    Pretty good deal IMO

Its more then a just 1 degree deference.. Much higher then that especially in 2005 it was the hottest year.

I am not going to buy some crappy ass car to stop global warming because really if i get fried by the sun when i step outside.. then so be it.

Me changing my car is not going to help the enviroment as they are just going to cut down another 200 acres of trees to make up for the air that i have saved.

My point is that it exists and "the Day after tomorrow" is plausable but unlikly to happen is such fastness that was represented within the movie. You live in Florida you get hot weather all the time so of course you wouldnt notice it. But being here in Canada you can see and feel the difference every year with crazy weather patterns and temperatures.

I guess temperatures we experienced on our own skin that we do not remember only exists in our heads. Temperatures are rising and we don't need NASA to see it and tell us. Now why is that ! Is it global warming or something else we "normal" people don't know. We only see our fields burned and never seen temperatures. For us "normal" people it is enough to listen to the earth to know something is wrong. We also see that apples don't survive without "help" anymore. We see all kind of stuff that NASA and people who live in the city with a help of air conditioner don't have a clue....
We see bees die on regular basis and no one knows why is that !
I guess it is only in our heads and NASA is right !

Yes it does seem to be warmer now than 5 years ago where i am at, i know a few degrees off here and there means alot but for me its even better since i have an adaptation to the warm weather, another words the hotter it gets the better my body operates.

Earth getting warmer and then cooler is a natural process, it happened in past and it will happen again. No matter you replace all the bulbs to candles, or buy some carbon credit, or decide to walk to your office, or turn your surrounding in something similar to Amazon rain forest.

It's not about the media though is it? It's about decades of countless scientific reports that point to the fact that global warming is happening.

In all honesty, it actually seems like it was way hotter 5+ years ago. I don't go outside as much as I used to though so that may be screwing with my memory about how hot it really is.

lol, come to think of it, 6+ years ago I was driving around is POS cars with no A/C too

I've repeatedly asked this, and have yet to get any kind of a reply (that didn't resort to name calling of one kind or another, so let's make the attempt, shall we?):

Never, in the entire history of this planet, has industrialization existed, before 150 years ago or so. Let's start with commonsense.

The explosion of manmade* pollutants into our ecosystem from, say, 1850 on.

Structural, lasting, geo-environmentally: Effect? No Effect?

*anthropogenic, to invite opprobrium onto my head by my brother Tbarr and others.:D

definate effect.. The bias people on the subject often hate "inconvient truth" but if you take the time to watch the movie and take in what is told then actually take a moment and THINK about it. you will see the findings are true and that it is a vaild concern for everyone. To many trees now days are getting cut down to make room for housing to fit more people... I am not sure what goes through there mind. More people + less tree = everyone dies from lack of air.. Also can no longer clean the air so the pollution is building up quickly which is causing the global warming effect.

Missiles were the worst thing to come to this planet. In my opinion humans are a cancer to the earth. We are growing quickly on it and taking all the life out of it. Now we are preparing to move to another planet to begin there to. Is there ever an end?

Well said, and I recommend that all of these article readers do the same. The Earth is in rough shape, and it doesn't take much of a bond with nature to figure that out. Whether we all agree that global warming exists or not I'm sure we can all agree that we need to stop killing trees and stop emitting tons of co2, among many other changes.

Rush Limbaugh is most definitely a gas bag - anyone who lends him their ear (especially when you won't do the same for your planet) has too much time on their hands.

Under Kyoto, nations get credit for cutting down trees. Did anyone know this?

    http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=070712182736.2zv65rro&show_article=1

In short, you are punished for having trees (they are part of your carbon usage, you know) so if you cut them down and plant brand new trees you get the benefit of having reforested the land.

Makes a ton of sense, doesn't it?
