Naming your page query

Say you have a news page, normally when I name my news pages I name it 'persons-name-news-1' 'persons-name-news-2' etc.

But someone said to me it would be better to replace the '1' and the '2' with what the news was about.

So say its a page about Katie Holmes and shes just had a baby it would be

    'katie-holmes-news-katie-holmes-gives-birth-to-baby'

Would that be ok or spammy, would it help?

    Thanks

    Nah - thats not spammy.
Spammy would be naming it after something that's not related to Katie.
I would name the URL 'katie-holmes-new-baby-news' or 'katie-holmes-new-baby' This ties in closer to the search phrase someone would probably use.

    Or not.
You never know how folks will search.
