it is very variable ..i mean i had one hosted on a private host..it updated in US my friends were able to access the site but here in Middle east i wasnt able to see the update..

its mostly something to do with caching of those name servers in the global registry servers..or so i was told...dont wory much tho..it took mine 3 days initially!

do one thing, use a few proxies to check the site.if the domain name redirects to the new servers then its an ISP problem. else contact godaddy.

I have godaddy, but it only take about couple hours to do so. directi.com change real fast too, better than godaddy.com to my point of view.

if you could tell us the domain names, we could help you better by checking from different places.

I had the same thing happen with me with my last ISP, they would take awhile to update their network cache. Sometimes it can be instant, other times days and you can see the who-is changed but not on your own browser, very annoying.
