    1. Easy push- Only require username.

    2. Cheap .info- Only $2.98 compared to.. cough *$5+*

    3. Nicer interface- My personal view :D

My main reason is that I've found out that GoDaddy does not allow people from Singapore, where I am residing to use their services while Namecheap has no problem with that.

Apart from that, Namecheap has less product offerings and they do not bug you too much when you sign up new domain names.

To be fair, some of the GoDaddy pricing are better and the longer you register the name for, they can get cheaper, Namecheap pricing is the same whether you sign up a year or 10 years.

I like both registrars. Both have great support and lots of good features. The only thing that stands out between GoDaddy and NameCheap is their push system. It's been mentioned before that all you need with NameCheap is a username while GoDaddy is a much more complicated process as they require all contact information to initiate an "Account Change."

I prefer namecheap for all the reasons above, plus I've heard lots of stories about Godaddy stealing people's domains so I feel much safer using namecheap.

i've only used namecheap and i've had no problems whatsoever - a couple of years now. so i guess there's no reason to move - it's a case of 'don't fix it if it ain't broke'... :D

Definitely NameCheap. The Paypal and free Whois guard are the best features IMO.

    a) You can use Paypal with GoDaddy - in fact, it is much easier becasue you can set up an account with them, thus meaning you don't need to continually type in your credit card details.
b)Buy 3 domains at Godaddy and you get free domain privacy
c)You can make massive savings through the large number of coupons available at Godaddy, bringing .coms down to $5/6.

$5/6 ? I always use coupons but I've never found them for that cheap!

One other thing I hate about Godaddy is their retarded customer support people who send me the most patronizing and unhelpful e-mails imaginable. Blagh!
