Long story short, namecheap ignored my polite emails and somehow _lost_ my support ticket on a refund issue. When RichardK started acting smart to me on namecheap.com forums (claiming I never sent in a ticket, asking for unnecessary information, calling me a liar, etc etc) I told him to $@#% off. Now they're locking my account and forcing me to transfer all of my domain names from them. Read: These are domain names which I purchased their services for (dns services and whoisguard protection). Nowhere in their TOS do they mention they can "lock out" accounts and steal domain names. a) namecheap.com/legal/webhosting/show.asp?page=tos b) namecheap.com/legal/reg-agreement.asp Any suggestions on how to deal with these thieves? Will Enom do anything with complaint? What about ICANN?
You called / emailed Domain Registrar **** Off .. Amazing ! Try shifting all domains to godaddy and deal with Bob Parson.
On June 15, 2008 I made a post to this forum falsely accusing NameCheap of being "thieves" who improperly "locked out" my account and "stole" my domains. In reality, NameCheap did not steal my domains, and I was given a week to transfer them, so I hereby retract that post. I'm truly sorry if anyone has formed an incorrect opinion of NameCheap based on my previous post.
