Day before yesterday i created account and registered domain and yesterday when i tried to login it displayed error: Unable to login For security reasons, this account has been locked due to too many failed login tries. The user name will be enabled after 12/12/2099 EST. If you think this is an error please email us using the same email address currently on your account to have your account enabled. And yesterday i sent email to support and after passing 24 hours there is no response Is it that bad?
Hmmm, I have never had a problem with namecheap before and I have bought 6 or so domains from them. try sending another email, server might have been down or something when you sent it? It does seem weird though - Robb
Lately i tried contact us link from namecheap website and then they respondent that it's done to prevent frauds And asked my phone number. I replied with my phone number and after passing more than 20 hours there is no phone call and no email to me
I am having this same problem. I have 6 or more domains registered with them and I got one email saying they had rectified it, which they didn't, and then when I emailed back they then replied saying the fraud dept had locked my account and to give them my phone number. That was yesterday, they haven't called me and no email reply either. They have a phone number that you can get through whois but they always have an answering machine. I'm starting to get annoyed. I live in Australia by the way.
they can not improve themselves yet. in my opinion it looks like they have a parasite in their team. Who locks accounts and after few days of inactivity he sell domains you chose.
