NameCheap are now increasing their price for domains. The old price was $8.8 per year and now it's $9.29 per year. Big loose for us domain buyers :(. But it's not such a big deal, it's not so much higher then the old price.

icann is increasing I think $25 cents or something like that, so most domain providers will increase their prices to make a profit still.

Using the Namecheap Coupon Code Rocktober (valid to Oct 14) you can still get a dot com for $7.99

I like their whoisguard and I prefer Namecheap over GD as GD spam me with constant emails and I have diffuculty filtering them out.

    Namecheap everytime for me. :)

Where did you see the price change ? I just visited their website and it is still $8.88 on Namecheap.

**Okay, nevermind. I just got the email notification from Namecheap about the price increase**

time to start auctioning off a lot of them...it's getting unaffordable. What really hurts are the .tv renewals :(
