Back in June, I was doing some programming for a client and had already been paid by them. So, I got some domains. But, on the 17th, Namecheap told me there was a paypal chargeback, come to find out, the client I did programming for issued a chargeback. So I explained the situation to Namecheap, and asked them if they could lock the domains affected, but keep the ones not affected by the payment issue unlocked. That seemed like a reasonable solution until I could deposit funds to my account to cover the chargeback. However, they chose to lock the account. I like Namecheap, and don't mean for this post to sound like a complaint. They say that they have good support. But, when it comes to payment issues it seems to me like they treat all domains like they were part of the same transaction. I understand why it is is Namecheap's best interest to lock the domains involved in a transaction, but to lock an account and all domains in it, I can't comprehend.
