Name The Worst Profitable Niches as a Webmaster

I agree I have a football draft site that gets traffic but nothing spectacular and when I do get clicks they are usually 4 or 5 cents..

 

I see you got a relatively new baseball blog. I got 2 of those and even when they ranked on page 3 for the actual team name in google, traffic was poor. I was always wondering why hardly anyone had a active baseball or football blog, etc now I know why. They are only good for selling links and even then it aint worth it.

 

I have been saying for a long time, Pro Wrestling makes ziltch. Affiliate ads that pay by commission do not perform well on them since the demographic is made up of poor kids, ghetto people, and low income hicks. And adsense pays on the low side.

The only way you can make decent money from this niche is if you get a tremendous amount of traffic and you're able to get into a good cpm network like Tribal Fusion...but that applies to any niche.

And one big reason why this niche sucks. The WWE cracks down hard on people using their pictures and videos so you have hardly any media content to use.

Absolutely horrible niche. Avoid it at all costs.

 

Well then how big adsense gaints how can they earn too much ..... how about to start some service like hitcounter.... pagerank checker etc.

 

well i would say that the entertainment niche like jokes, humor is worst adsense earning niche.

 

then what should a webmaster do to earn online ?

 

I got on page one for wwe memorabilia for a while and got almost no traffic.

 

There are many that are saturated however if you find one like weight loss for example well then its sad to say but many people are overweight so if you advertise well then it shouldnt be a problem. Find a niche that many people have a problem with and stand out.

 

Gaming is bad, all the kids use that for their first website. It makes google overfilled with so many (useless) gaming pages.

 

Gaming, wallpapers and these days finance are oversaturated

 

My worst niche i would consider ps3 way to much competition for a newbi like me

 

I've got two successful celebrity sites, each on front page of google for highly popular names, one getting 1000 uniques a day, the other one 4000 a day - on average I get about 100 clicks a day combined, but it totals up to only $3 - $4 a day. Very badly performing niche. I wish i had invested all those years into car related site or something that pays better. By now my sites would be popular and I'd be making money, instead of pocket change.

Celebrity niche - enjoyable and easy to write about, but earnings are beyond pathetic

Yep, thats what the humour funny sites are like. Easy to get 10,000 UV a month, but the payouts per click are pathetic.
