Today I purchased a new host(A small orange) so that I moved my sites to the new host, and also changed the name server of the domain so the domain will point at the new server..

However the domain is acting strange and it's pointing at the new server and suddently a few hours later it's pointing back to the older server again. This happned twice.. going back and forth.

Is this normal? Will time solve this issue? thanks.

Its probably just a registrar thing, wait for the registrar to settle then you could do something, also closely check again to see if the registrar is the cause of the problem, because MAYBE just MAYBE they charge you extra to change the nameservers

Yes, it's the Internet, but not always the 'super highway' we'd like it to be. It could take a full days to fully propogate. Also, be sure the new server has the necessary capabilities to run all things on your site ... not all are the same/equal.
