Name Problem

My name is K.R.Ashok. I opened a bank account and i give K.R.Ashok as my name ( as a full name - no first or last ). My bank account is activated. I am already having a account in paypal, where i have given my first name as "Ashok" and last name as "Ramesh". So i can't add my bank account in paypal because of name. When i tried to change the name, i got to know that we can't change the name.

So i am going to open a new paypal account. Now please say me what i want to enter in

First Name :
Middle Name :
Last Name :

My bank a/c name is K.R.Ashok

 

WHy you reversed your name in paypal ???

I dont think paypal allows to add middle name . So add first name KR( I don't know whether
they allow dots or not ) Last Name :- Ashok .

I also only have first name (no last name). I have tried to use contact us form in paypal website since 2 days ago. But, there is no reply until now.

So, try to contact them. Maybe they will reply your question.

 

I already contacted them, there is no proper response.
i have closed that account and opened a new account with the first name as K R and last name as Ashok. I think it is correct.

 

Yea I think this should work fine now. Name on PayPal account should be exactly same as it appears on your bank account.

 

I have received an email from paypal like this:

"Please do not worry, you can register a PayPal account and use all the
services of PayPal.

You can register a PayPal account with your first name “Wahyudi”,
filling in the last name with some symbols. (For example: “.” “,”)

I suggest you to contact your bank first to inquire which kind of name
and sign they can accept when you process the withdrawal. After
confirming with bank, you can register a PayPal account. "

 

I was having same problem, no need to ask paypal about it, ask your bank officer with it, i have talked with them and my checque was cleared. The important thing is how they (Your bank) write your account name in slip which they are sending for clearance.

I am still have same problem in paypal and bank account and I have received and cleared more than 30 cheques.
