We have a problem with some malls and other related sites that have seemingly hijacked our Name. We are finding sites in search engines that sell same or similar products. The search engine results contain our title and discription but with the link pointing to their URL , worse still they have no record of our URL , reciprocal link, nor our header or description within their page source.

    Who know what is happening?
    Thanks Hugh

Check if they are using redirection. Here's how it works. They set up a website (say hijacker.com) that has no content, but redirects all requests to your website. Then they submit their URLs to SEs, which simply follow the redirection and index your content as if it is published by the hijacker.

Search these forums for 302 and hijacking for more info.
