Hey, just a question to ask, I am starting a website where people can sell their websites, domain names and adspace. In the future the variety of options will grow.. What would you suggest calling the website? - iSeller - SellMyShed ..or have an idea for a name yourself? Thanks for the help, Finney
iSeller seems much more relevant that sell my shed, especially for the random internet wanderer who happens to have some domain name they want to sell. I'm quite impressed/surprised it isn't taken, though (and if it's not, buy it right away! you can always resell it for more if you don't end up using it).
I'm vote for iseller, the domain is short and got a keyword seller. I hope your site will be a great site soon.
IMO, i dont think it is a good idea to ask for dieas for domain names as well there are people viewing and snatching your domain (if available) or stealing your ideas mate
The only thin is, I wont be providing the sales of URLs, it will be that and websites and adspace. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I see where your coming from but that is why I have kept my ideas brief, this has already been done with a few websites and they got popular. But they wont beat my low rates
i'm not talking about rates..just the domain getting the domain is hard in public happened 4 times before I suggested a domain after searching availability OP of the thread replied no its registered I checked and reg same day few minutes after my suggestion
Read this. Don't mention your 'name' to anybody and don't post it online. R-click your desktop, select new, select text document. Name it and hit enter. Write down any domain name you'd like to register. Leave the extension, .com, .tv, .net, etc, off. Make it a single column list. Write down variations. Use Gooogle's keyword tool for assistance. At most any registrar, you can register or just check up to 500 names at a time. Be aware though, the evidence seems to show that some will take your wish list and register the names themselves to resell at a premium price. In a few seconds, you will find out which possibilities are or aren't available. You do not have to register any you don't want. Delete them. Or just select the 'One' you want and register it. If you use my site, Domain Sales Zone, hover your pointer over 'Domain Names' for a moment to see the drop-down menu. Select 'Bulk Registration'. Copy and Paste your list in the box. Select the extensions you want to consider, enter the 4 digit code, hit 'Enter'. A simple phone call to my support staff will get you a live person to walk you throught the process if you need help. If you're enterprising enough, it will take you about 5 minutes to find MY phone number and I can walk you through it myself.
