.name domains ??

    Hello guys..
    i planned to buy a .name domain..
    but before that, i would like to know if it is okay or should i switch over to some other extension..

    I think it somehow depends on what you are planning to use the domain for. A .name domain is not very good for branding IMHO. If its a a great keyword domain then it wont harm you in the SERPS.

    .name is a crappy extension. I wouldn't buy it if I was you.

    if you really need that one word keyword and .name is the only gtld free, it's ok.

    .name is basically good for personal websites where you want to post your CV or so :)

    .name extension is my last chance all time. Meant I'm trying to grab other exteniosn firstly and if I coudln't to find good domain name that time prefer .name extension.
