    is name.com any good... since i recently bought a domain name there and wondering why it's cheaper than the rest of the domain registrants?

    I don't think so personally I use dynadot they are a dollar or two more expenisve but for the convenience it is worth it to me.

    Yes, they're cheap & reputable. I have been buying all my .com & .net there for the past 3 months.

    It's marketing strategic. Register / transfer domain ASAP as I do believe they will increase the price after few months.
